This biographical crime drama directed by Spike Lee is the story of Ron Stallworth, the first African-American detective in the Colorado Springs's police department, who goes undercover to infiltrate and expose the local Ku Klux Klan chapter. Produced in the shadow of the Unite the Right rally in Charlottsville, this is a hard-hitting movie with (sadly) strong contemporary relevance. Starring John David Washington and Adam Driver as the “buddy” protagonists and includes the powerful final on-screen appearance of Harry Belafonte.

Six Oscar nominations and won Best Adapted Screenplay. Winner of the Grand Prix at Cannes.
